Battery & Care

Charging

  • Fully charge before first use.
  • Use the cable supplied, or a reputable charger with the same output.
  • Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface, away from heat and out of reach of children. Don't charge overnight on a bed or sofa.
  • Stop using and contact us if a battery gets unusually hot, swells, smells or is damaged.

Making the battery last

  • Lower heat settings run longer. Save the highest setting for when you're standing still in serious cold.
  • Cold weather shortens any battery's runtime. Keep spare batteries and power banks warm in an inside pocket.
  • If you store the product for the summer, charge the battery to about half first and recharge every few months.

Washing

  • Always remove the battery or power bank first.
  • Vest: machine wash on a gentle cycle, then hang to dry.
  • Gloves: spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry.
  • Insoles: wipe clean with a damp cloth. Don't submerge.
  • Never iron, tumble dry or dry clean heated products, and make sure everything is fully dry before reconnecting the battery.

Safe use

  • Don't use heated products on anyone who can't feel heat properly or can't remove the product themselves, including young children.
  • If you feel discomfort, lower the setting or switch off.
  • Don't sleep in heated products with the heat on.
  • Don't use if the heating element, cables or battery are damaged.
